I am a fast and accurate copy editor with experience running the production desk of an international stockbroking newspaper and as a writer and editor on a series of in-house company publications and business magazines throughout a 44-year journalism career. I led the editorial production desk of the stockbroking newspaper Financial News (now efinancialnews) as chief sub and production editor and during my tenure I improved the speed and efficiency with which the newspaper was produced, streamlined desk operations, oversaw one-off publication launches and helped establish the then-new publication in its early years. I have written technology abstracts/summaries for Curation Corporation and I edit essays and papers for Canadian-based international copy-editing company EditMyPaper. I also worked as a digest writer and editor for networking organisation Editorial Intelligence from its launch in 2007 until 2013. In addition, I carry out a variety of one-off copy-editing jobs in both the business and academic fields. I am a also a freelance writer and journalist with experience in many sectors as copy editor, reporter and writer including business, finance, the drinks industry, politics and the arts.
